Edited stories of luxury womenswear with detailed processes involved in each garment to come to fruition, creating investment pieces that will 'forever' be in your wardrobe.
A graduate of the renowned London College of Fashion, achieving a BA Hons in Fashion Design Technology: Womenswear. Mairi began her career with Julien MacDonald working on catwalk showpieces and celebrity commissions and gained further experience with Givenchy. With an aim to learn from the best, Mairi continued to master her craft with an impressive portfolio of labels across womenswear, menswear and textile design before launching her own eponymous brand. Mairi McDonald has shown at consecutive London, Paris and New York Fashion weeks since launching in 2014, gaining luxury stockists and press coverage from leading fashion publications such as WWD, ID and Drapers.
Inspired by iconic women in music, Mairi was selected by MTV to collaborate with British Singer Jess Glynne on a short film about the label in conjunction with the MTV EMA'S and has attracted attention from key women in and around the music scene including Ariana Grande, Alicia Keys, and includes Laura Whitmore, Edith Bowman and Avec Sans’s Alice Fox as fans of the label.
