Haight Poets Society
Haight Poets Society is inspired by San Francisco in the late 1960's, Haight - Ashbury an area synonymous with the hippie movement and American counterculture where musicians such as Janis Joplin and Jefferson Airplane resided alongside the Beat Generation poets and had their own, unconventional, free-spirited society.
Inspired by the rock stars who wanted to be known as poets and the Beat poets with their equally hedonistic lifestyles who were essentially rock stars. Capturing a feeling of the local Poetry clubs... a softness, bringing together a romantic, preppy, poetic feel and creating a intelligent, bohemian look with our signature rock 'n' roll edge.
